On March 23rd, the launching meeting and clinical research promotion meeting of Ganzhou Key Laboratory of Respiratory Diseases was held in Ganzhou Fifth People's Hospital. Chen Haohua, Party member and deputy director of Ganzhou Science and Technology Bureau, and Zhang Jinlan, Party Secretary of Ganzhou Fifth People's Hospital attended the meeting and delivered speeches. President Liu Hui presided over the meeting and made a concluding speech. Invited experts, leaders of our hospital, members of Ganzhou Key Laboratory of Respiratory Diseases and professional and technical personnel engaged in respiratory disease prevention and control in our hospital attended the meeting.
Ganzhou Key Laboratory of Respiratory Diseases is led by the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Gather the strength of respiratory clinical discipline group (respiratory department, tuberculosis department, infectious department, thoracic surgery department, intensive care department) and respiratory auxiliary discipline group (respiratory imaging, respiratory examination, respiratory pathology and respiratory disease research institute) of Ganzhou Fifth People's Hospital, Based on the abundant clinical resources of the hospital, we will carry out scientific research on clinical, basic, rehabilitation, epidemiology of respiratory diseases and respiratory diseases with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. The research team will explore common respiratory diseases, acute infectious respiratory diseases, occupational diseases and lung diseases, opportunistic infections, tuberculosis, small pulmonary nodules/lung cancer, rare earth medicine and other disciplines. Strive to establish an open scientific research and technology platform to improve the level of clinical diagnosis and treatment, scientific research, personnel training and discipline construction of respiratory diseases in our city.
The Key Laboratory of Respiratory Diseases has 8 wards with more than 350 open wards, including 3 chief physicians (professors) and 13 deputy chief physicians (associate professors), including 6 doctoral degrees and 10 master's degrees. There is one winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, one young Jinggang scholar in Jiangxi Province, one innovative leader in Jiangxi Double Thousand Plan, one million talents in Jiangxi Province, one health academic and technical training object in Jiangxi Province, and one scholar of "Light of Soviet Area" in Ganzhou City, with a complete academic echelon. The research direction of the laboratory can be divided into respiratory and occupational diseases, infectious diseases, tuberculosis, thoracic surgery, lung tumor, severe respiratory diseases, respiratory examination and pathology, respiratory imaging and other directions, covering all research fields of respiratory diseases.
After the launching ceremony, a clinical research promotion meeting was held. Peng Xiaozhou, Chief of High-tech Department of Ganzhou Science and Technology Bureau, Dr. Wan Shaogui, Dr. Zhong Tianyu and Dr. Chen Xin of Gannan Medical College gave lectures on the construction and acceptance standards of key experiments in the city, how to use clinical resources to do scientific research and write scientific research tenders.
